I realized that Expedia just launched the local version in the Spanish market. It was about time, long time no see big companies like this one launching in the old and loved spanish country! I have not spent enough time checking the site but it seems that the product offers at least the same set of tools and options than older sites such as viajar.com, rumbo, destinia, edreams and the likes. I personally prefer Expedia because you know that what you buy is what you get, no surprises of the type of sorry your flight was booked or we found you a different hotel. I will take a deeper look at the site at a later stage but if you want to take a look just follow the links.

Apparently the PS3 was going on sale today at 9am GMT. I say apparently because it is now 11:22am and the PS3 is still not on sale. And yes, I am in GMT zone. And yes is not the first time it happened (remember the Wii coming on sale later than 9am?).

What is wrong here? Why you just do not say, come over some time on Thursday 15th of February to see if we decided to put the item on sale. Oh dear!

I for once thought that now that Spain is seen as cool internationally and that we have won Oscars, World Basketball titles, F1 championship titles (twice) and several hundreds of Michelin stars (almost) we will be coming next winning one of these weblog awards (at least a nomination to the most useless one!) but truth is that ain't hapenning.

Anyway, pretty good stuff and ideas out there, to read, laugh, learn and get entertained and in the meantime to vote for. Check it here
