where are the RV1 green buses?

Freezing.

Hailing.

Windy.

Rainy.

I took the RV1 today and to my despair I realized I had not seen one of those cell fuel buses that used to service the RV1 route in quite a while. What is going on? Where they pull out of the fleet? Aren't car drivers paying the congestion charge to reduce pollution but buses keep using the nasty and dirty diesel engines? Can someone tell me why Transport for London does not keep them?

Apparently we have 8,000 buses in London. 8,000 yes, which equals to a zillion tons of crap.

I did a quick search to find out this:

BBC coverage of the green buses on the RV1 route

I then went to TFL website and found the following:

Hybrid buses introduced in London

Still, someone gives me a plan of what is hapenning here.
